Rooted in original mid-century charm, this concrete and brick home presented a unique challenge for renovation and infrastructure updates. The remodel design embraces the home’s inherent materiality quirks while thoughtfully introducing modern comforts and refined details. A once-underutilized bathroom was transformed into a spa-like retreat, creating a quiet, restorative escape within the home. In the dining room, a custom built-in bench maximizes function and storage while creating an inviting setting for gathering with guests.

The design remains true to the homeowners’ aesthetic, providing a considered backdrop for the eclectic collection gathered throughout their travels. The result is a home that feels distinctly personal, where original character, modern function, and a lifetime of collected treasures come together.
