Originally located on the Drake University campus on a lot slated for redevelopment, this incredible Victorian home faced an uncertain future. Thankfully, the university not only offered it up for a “move” but also contributed to the (substantial) cost. Sequel worked with the developer from the start – constructing the new foundation, organizing the “lift”, and designing the full rehabilitation.

The rehabilitation work involved substantial structural remediation, re-opening rooms that had been carved up into several apartments, creating an incredible main bedroom suite, and a complete redesign of the kitchen and mudroom. This house also features a fully finishable basement level and a third floor “loft” space!
