Integrated Design

Three Pillars of Integrated Design

Sequel’s unique system guides our clients through the complex design and construction process. Even the simplest of projects can benefit from thorough design and documentation.

Collaborative Process

When design professionals from different disciplines collaborate effectively, we are able to identify areas for refinement and uncover creative solutions.

Though each of us views design through different lenses, our shared goal is an integrated design where the details work in harmony with the infrastructure.

Evaluating client feedback and engaging as a team from the very start of a project ensures a smoother process.

Right Decisions, Right Order

There are SO MANY decisions to make over the the course of a project. Sequel’s unique Integrated Design process provides the structure to make the right decisions in the right order. We start with understanding your motivations and priorities, defining the context and constraints.

We’ll guide you through design solutions that work both for the interior and architecture, helping you feel confident in your decisions, knowing everything will fit together perfectly (and within budget!).

Client-Centered Design

Every client is an individual, every site is unique, and every building has it’s own story to tell.

Our process starts with a collaborative work session we call “Visual Discovery” where we dig into your vision. In order to guide the design, we need to first understand you as an individual: your goals, your needs, your motivations underlying the project.

This understanding is carried through from the initial concepts to the final selections.

Budget Alignment

When you don’t have exact finishes and fixtures selected before approaching your contractor, they may make assumptions about the level of quality you are looking for and give you inaccurate pricing.

Sequel’s design services include both architectural drawings and interior specifications. This full package gives the contractor the necessary information for an accurate quote from the start.
