We had the privilege to meet Harlan Thomas this week and hear some stories about his 50-year career owning the Barbershop building that we’re renovating for Sequel Architecture’s future office. But he is also an accomplished blues musician, inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame in 1999!
He was generous to give us a CD he produced a few years ago with some solo blues tracks.
Harlan is 82 years old now and not performing live anymore, so we are collecting virtual tips via Venmo. Please acknowledge his influence on the Iowa blues scene and leave a little if you are so inclined after listening.
